The Systems Society of India (SSI), Thiruvananthapuram Chapter is part of the national body established in 1982 to bring together Engineers, Scientists, and Academicians from diverse fields. The society works to promote research, applications, and knowledge sharing through a holistic systems approach, aiming to support innovation and progress for the benefit of society.

Inspired by Aristotle’s idea that “a whole is more than the sum of its parts” and guided by Ludwig von Bertalanffy’s General Systems Theory (GST), the chapter focuses on advancing Systems Science and Systems Engineering. We strive to spread awareness, encourage collaboration, and apply systems thinking to address challenges and create solutions relevant to the needs of our country.
